Digging season 2003
           
Summary:

The team of 15 dinosaur diggers made three absolutely exceptional finds this year:
1. A complete Stegosaurus skeleton, about 15 feet long with a phantastic skull
2. An partial skeleton of an Apatosaurus with leg and 36 articulated vertebrae (downwards from vertebra No. 6)
3. a huge shoulder blade (6 ft without coracoid) of a Supersaurus or Seismosaurus
A large part of the freshly excavated objects can be seen in our museum from October 2003.

Vertebra after vertebra, each one where it is supposed to be: A dream come true for every dinosaur digger! The articulated skeleton of the Apatosaurus Chris. The right femur is still in its hip joint  
 
 
 
The delicate dinosaur bones are wrapped in stable plaster jackets and made ready for shipping. total weight: 6500 lbs! Jean-Claude and Katrin wrapping paper and cardboard around the plaster jackets in order to prepare them for shipping to Switzerland
