Hard work on the sauropod tail. We found quite a few more bones (among them Stegosaurus bones) underneath. It's not always hot: our first rainy day and it was pretty cool. From left to right: Koebi, Toni, Maya and Jaques.

The freshly exposed giant shoulder blade and Maya for scale. Kirby giving instructions on where to pose for a team photo.

To keep us from being fried in the sun, Toni, Dimi and Maya set up shades. Lunch break for team No. 2. From left to right: Heiner, Dimi, Toni, Emanuel, Maya, Nicola and Rebea.

Nicola measures the bones. This work requires much care and lets you reconstruct the original position of the bones. Maya cleans and hardens the backside of a plastered bone to get it ready for transport.
